2022-LYNCHPIN

In mid-2021 Big Change announced an end-of-life statement on the TRACE commercial vehicle workshop system. We had previously upgraded and transferred two other TRACE users to LYNCHPIN. Foulgers (CVS) Ltd and Kettlewell Commercials Ltd.

Apart from the expected challenges in moving from one system to another, the major critical consideration was retaining the 10+ years of workshop history TRACE had built up.  We overcame this by importing all of the TRACE into LYNCHPIN and making it easily accessible. Two other TRACE users who decided LYNCHPIN was the ideal replacement are  Fleet Service in Preston and  Roadaid in Widnes.

2022-PRECISE360

JM Tools in Preston are the latest company to benefit from the tailorability of PRECISE360. Their sister company Preston Grinding has used PRECISE360 for seven years. However, the tooling business differs in a number of ways from the grinding division. This is especially so when it comes to generating customer quotations. In the past, they used a mish-match of spreadsheets. They wanted to get rid of this struggle and to make raising quotes as simple and straightforward as they had with Preston Grinding.  That is what we did.

An important addition to PRECISE360 is the ability to schedule jobs against machine capacity based on estimated and actual hours. This combined with QuickReports means you are only one click from seeing what is happening in your works.

2022 -360-OPERATIONS
Two new clients who have recently invested in a 360-OPERATIONS database are RSM Carpentry Ltd in Kent and Sutcom in North Shields.

RSM Carpentry is a specialist joinery business working with major house-building developers across southern England. A family business established in 1994 they had outgrown the in-house concoction of manual paper forms, different colored binders, spreadsheets, and MSWord documents. They also wanted the capability to work from multiple sites and from home. The database sits on a hosted server giving each member of the family instant access to ensure the smooth running of their business regardless of their location.

Sutcom is one of the UK’s leading and largest specialist HVAC Commissioning companies in delivering Quality-Accredited Building Services Commissioning Management and System Performance Testing. Working out of offices in Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne, Luton, UAE, and Saudi Arabia The group has built up an enviable reputation in their specialist fields.

Their 360-OPERATIONS database captures 20+ engineer timesheets and records site work giving them instant and accurate comparisons with project estimates.
